Kit and Boodle InstrumentsThe instrument line up is currently: Button accordion, concertina, fiddle, mandolin, whistle, hammered dulcimer, guitar and Leicestershire small pipes. Sound Quality Although we are only a three piece band, a good depth of sound is achieved with our specially designed amplification system. Whatever the size of the venue or the nature of the event we can provide just the right kind of sound to suit your needs. So, whether you want a small and intimate set up for a wedding or a lot of volume for a large hall then we can provide it. Also, the fourth member of the band constantly monitors the volume levels and mix of instruments to maintain the perfect sound balance. |

| Bass
The all important bass sounds needed for dance music are created by John’s accordion. As well as providing a rich full tone acoustically, it has an electronic system that produces very effective bass and chordal sounds. |
Variety of Sound Each member of the band plays a variety of instruments and consequently tunes of varying texture can be achieved. This is particularly important when we play from our large repertoire of listening tunes because we are able to make each tune sound different to the others we play - this enables us to create a much more musical event.
