Battle Reports - full

Each of the following games has been written up as a narrative battle report rather than in DBx style. Therefore, you will not find references to elements, troop types or dice rolls; hopefully you will be able to relate the description back to the rules should you wish to. I have not written up all my games only those I considered interesting for some reason or those I have particularly enjoyed. Also omitted are those which have not reached any sort of conclusion due to time constraints, etc.

I have split the battles into two sections. The first is between historical, or historically possible, armies and the second is for anachronistic games. The main difference is that for the former I have invented a background for the battle; as this is less plausible for anachronistic games so I have (usually) not bothered. Please note that as I deliberately write these games up from memory some time after the event the army compositions and deployment may not be wholly accurate.

There are three web pages for each battle; the first showing a rough diagram of the battlefield, my table edge at the bottom, and a DBM army listing and command structure; the second which has the narrative, and the third which has my thoughts on the game. Where I have linked the narrative between battles they appear after each other in the list and have a link to a following battle at the end of the narrative.
