The Morris Marina was exported worldwide from the UK, with many cars being sent CKD (Completely Knocked Down) to South Africa and Australia, until Leyland Australia was shut down. For the U.S. market, the name was changed to Austin Marina as it was percieved that the Morris branding would have no market recognition. The countries known to have had Marina exports are; Australia - CKD from the UK with local content. Austria Belgium Bermuda Canada Cyprus - Many cars exported by British Serviceman and left there France Germany Greece Holland Israel Italy Jamaica Malta - Haven for Classic Cars, with many Marinas and ITALs of all vintages Mexico Morocco New Zealand - Exported direct from UK (strange, as they were built in Australia) Portugal - CKD from UK South Africa - CKD from the UK Switzerland United States of America - Exported from UK		Mk2 Marina in Malta ITAL Estate in Malta
