	Hi Everybody! I am putting this website together pretty much on my own, so I'm taking this page to let you know what sort of nutter would actually like the poor old Morris Marina, and to give you a bit of background to my world.
	A few words about myself. I was born November 1964 so I'm getting older, but not gracefully. After attending school I went to work for British Rail and successfully passed out as a Fitter/Electrician (just before apprenticeships were consigned to the bin of history and training became a dirty word). After about three years, I was made redundant and moved to Bristol with my wife and started work for a food packageing company and also started my first internment as Morris Marina Owners Club magazine Editor. Another three years on saw me back home and working for a plastics company, who I still get paid by. I left the MMOC gig through the arrival of two small and screaming things who are now much older and lethal Kuk Sool Won exponents (but still costing an arm and a leg to run!) In the meantime, I had also been involved with railway preservation and worked with the Class 37 Group to acquire 37003 'First East Anglian Regiment' for preservation. I went back to the MMOC as magazine Editor in 2001 but I told them to shove the job in Jan 2003 after I got fed up with the underhanded dealings by the Secretary and Chairman (yes, it is still a sore point with me). So, I now run this site and three Marinas, a Rover, a wife, two kids, a dog, cat, five guinea pigs and a job. Thats enough for anyone, methinks!
	Cars I've owned or used....in chronological order.... MYE153D Vauxhall Viva HA SL80 - sod to work on with diabolical handling HVG 84N Morris Marina 1.3SDL saloon - looked good but rusty as hell ACL 77S Morris Marina 1.8 Special - Was my Dad's, kept it for 16 years! Beast! OAH 708W Morris ITAL 1.7L Estate - Good car, crap engine. F414DAG Rover Montego 1.6L - Cracking car once the gearbox was rebuilt F352BPW Rover Montego 2.0DL - Awesome car - pity the sunroof leaked so bad! A?????? Austin Mini Mayfair 1.3 - Most fun I've ever had with my clothes on! Shame it fell apart... NRT 12W Morris Marina 1.7L saloon - nice car, ragged interior G703HVG MG Metro - Hell of a car, shame about 2nd gear! F805??? Austin Metro 1.3L - looked good but a real rustbucket NTF628R Morris Marina GT coupe - monster of a car that handles as well as it looks UEX 34W Morris Marina 575 pick-up - rust, rust, rust and even more rust! TBM842R Morris Marina 1.3 SDL saloon - nice car, runs well. YBJ 801S Morris Marina GT coupe - goes like hell, looks crap but solid where it counts There's a couple of others (F97LAA - Mk3 Cavalier heap of junk!) that aren't here because I can't remember the details at the moment, but I'll add them when I remember!
