How about an original piece of music? If you want to surprise a friend or relative on a special occasion you could commission a new piece especially for them. My broad musical background means that I am comfortable composing in a wide range of styles. Maybe you'd like something they can play themselves or something you or your friends can play for them, or perhaps you would prefer an electronically produced piece on CD or a live performance by myself and colleagues.
I also take commissions for incidental music for theatre productions and such like, as well as arranging and producing scores for writers of musicals.
I charge a very reasonable £50 including the production of a CD and personalised manuscript plus £20 per instrument per minute of material.
Live performances are charged at £60 per person plus travel expenses.
