Drive to Kinabatangan River area and take longboat down to Jungle Camp based on a lagoon a short walk through the rainforest from the river | |
| We explore the rainforest by foot and canoe | |
Some of the wildlife is all around if you can spot it like the lizard in this photo. |
| We find evidence of Elephants recently in the area and explore a cave for bats and insects | The undoubted highlight is seeing the Probiscus Monkeys and a wild Orangutan alongside the river |
Although they all move so fast when they spot the canoe that getting close enough for a photo is very difficult |
| Its also possible to sit in camp and wait for the wildlife to come to you, like a hungry Water Monitor |
