KING'S LYNN WRITERS - AN ANTHOLOGY

Publication date: 29th July 2004

This anthology of short stories, articles and poems, edited by Paul Winstanley, showcases many of King's Lynn Writers' Circle members' work. The circle has been meeting on the second Thursday of every month for over twenty years, and I have been a member for about ten. During that time writers have come and gone, but throughout I have been impressed by the outstanding quality and diversity of their writing.

Amongst our members past and present are professional novelists, published poets, journalists, authors of technical books, and those who write purely for their own pleasure and that of their friends in the circle. All are equally welcome at our relaxed monthly meetings, where we read our work to each other and discuss it in (I hope) a friendly and helpful way. Writing is a lonely occupation, and we all appreciate the chance to meet and talk with like-minded people.

We hope that you will enjoy reading this anthology as much as we have enjoyed writing it, and if you are a writer yourself, and live within reach of King's Lynn, we would be delighted to welcome you to our meetings.
