Welcome to Chapelwood Primary Care Centre

We are a 5 partner training practice situated in a semi-rural part of Gwent, South Wales.

The Rogerstone Practice is a well established group practice having been in the area for almost 60 years.  The partnership consists of four full-time doctors and one three-quarter time doctor.  Our practice is recognised for Post Graduate Training which means we train fully qualified doctors who want to become general practitioners.

The practice is actively committed to developing primary health care services, believing this is best achieved through the co-ordination and development of the primary health care team, to provide appropriate comprehensive packages of care.

Both community and practice staff now share the general running of the practice's health clinics for asthma, diabetes, hypertension and women's health.  Close links with local pharmacies assist with prescribing policies, patient education and information support for the team.

Our health care assistant post provides phlebotomy and ECG technician services, working in more than one clinic as part of an integrated primary care team supporting both nurses and doctors within the practice.
