The Tree Council
The Tree Council is an organisation for national organisations which have a
common interest in and recognition of the value of trees. The Council's principal aim is
to improve the environment by promoting the planting and conservation of trees and woods
throughout the United Kingdom. The annual Esso Walk in the Woods and Esso National Tree
Week campaigns will promote the Trees of Time and Place message, with the Council's
volunteer Tree Warden network undertaking practical action.
