On the surface, the story of Mr. Snow the snowman is a heart warming Yuletide tale of an over busy Father Christmas who chooses our frozen hero to help him deliver presents to the children.

After the departure of Santa, the story becomes quite sad. What happens to the snowman once the snow has melted? Is he resurrected every year by the children? What happens if there is no snow, or when those children become too old to build snowmen?
