The Outer Limits (the "OLGC" to its members) has been in existence
now for nine years and can boast some of the best 3D battle boards
and scenery you are likely to see in any wargaming club or society.
All of the club members are keen army and model collectors and some
of their painting skills are second to none.
The club has always had a wide variety
of genre and types of game that its members play, ranging from AD&D
to Live Action Role-play; from Warhammer Fantasy Battle to Historical
Wargaming; from Warhammer 40K to the "Outer Limits" its own Sci-Fi
battle game that is rich in detail and absorbing to play. Bloodbowl,
Star Fleet Battles, Full Thrust, all these games and more grace
our gaming tables.
We believe that it is this diversity and
unbiased approach to all types of wargames that gives the club its
particular and unique character. If you fancy coming along to take
part, the OLGC meets every Monday night between 19.00 and 22.00
at the Alderman Callow School and Community Centre in Mitchell Avenue,
Canley, Coventry, England.
The first session you attend is free but
a fee of £1.50 is charged for every evening attended thereafter.
This small charge not only helps pay for room hire but it also goes
towards the cost of scenery and special events like "Battle-Days"
where members can field and fight with their armies all day and
also have a meal and enter special competitions for prizes.
