Some locations have a magical quality which a true
landscape photographer can feel instinctively, even on the first
visit and whatever the weather. Such an area is Rannoch Moor.
There are the lochans and islands, lone boulders, often supporting
a lone tree, whilst in the background is the range of mountains
known as Black Mount. Viewed in the autumn when the grasses are
a vibrant orange/red or in the winter when in the grip of snow
and ice, it's beauty is both awe inspiring and captivating. |
