With two summertime singles under their belt, The Regulars are to release a third within the next few weeks - as a free downloadable mp3.
The band's first two singles Lie down and fight and This is the sound were released by Bearos Records in 2000 and 2001, but this time the Regs have opted to do something a little different while they ponder the next move in their breathtakingly slow-paced career.
Releasing a free single online, it was felt, would be a good way for the band to say thank you to everyone who bought the first two and comes to see their gigs, while also marking the relaunch of The Regulars website in late summer.
The release will be accompanied with a downloadable CD inlay, which can be printed off to adorn CD-R copies of the single.
A final decision is yet to be taken over which track will be released, but it is expected to be taken from the recordings made by the band last December.
