December we make it back
02 Nov 2001

In an uncharacteristic display of arse getting into gear, The Regulars plan to be back in the recording studio before the end of 2001.

The band have booked three days in December at Redditch's Smallwood Studios - where their new single This is the sound was recorded in April of this year.

As with the Sound sessions, the engineering will be undertaken by the renowned Mat Webster, who is also to produce the new material in collaboration with the band.

The Regs are planning to get three songs down at Smallwood. The toe-tapping Try and the new 'breakthrough song' - as Pete has taken to describing it - Pop box 9:30 are expected to figure, along with one other to be decided.

The band remain delighted with the sound achieved at Smallwood for their current single, and it is hoped that these new sessions will lead to a third release for The Regulars in 2002.
